Who is responsible

What Rakr does

Rakr keeps one inventory and lists it on resale platforms (Vinted, Vestiaire Collective, Grailed) on your behalf, keeps prices in sync and records sales. Listing happens in your own browser through the Rakr Helper extension, using the accounts you are already signed in to.

Data we store on our server

• Account: your email address, a hashed password, your company or store name and your settings.
• Inventory: the items you create or import: titles, descriptions, brand, size, condition, prices, purchase prices you enter, measurements and photos.
• Shop connection: if you connect Shopify, an access token for your store so Rakr can read products and write back sales and platform links.
• Platform listings: listing ids, links, prices and status on each platform.
• Sales: for items sold on a platform: item, sale price, fees, payout, date, order id and buyer country. We do not store buyer names or addresses from the platforms.
• Helper devices: a device name, a pairing token and whether you are signed in to each platform (yes/no and your platform user name).
• Technical logs: IP address, time and requested address of requests to our server, kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

The Rakr Helper extension

The extension only works on the sites it needs: the Vinted sites (vinted.at, .de, .fr, .it, .com), vestiairecollective.com, grailed.com, the image and search services these platforms use, cdn.shopify.com for your product photos, and app.rakr.io. It reads your existing sessions on these platforms (cookies) inside your browser to create, update and remove listings in your name and to detect sales. Your platform passwords and cookies are never sent to Rakr. The extension sends back to our server only the results of its work: listing ids, links, prices, imported listing details and sale details as listed above. It uses Chrome's debugger interface solely to type into Vinted form fields, which only accept real keyboard input.

The use of information received from Google APIs and Chrome extension permissions adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell user data, do not use it for advertising and do not transfer it to third parties except the processors below.

Legal basis

We process this data to provide the service you signed up for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for technical logs and security, on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Processors

• Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany: server hosting in the EU.
• Porkbun LLC, USA: domain registration and DNS for rakr.io (no user data).

The platforms you connect (Shopify, Vinted, Vestiaire Collective, Grailed) receive the listing data you publish there under their own privacy policies.

Cookies and tracking

The web app stores a login token in your browser so you stay signed in. We use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies.

How long we keep data

As long as your account exists. When you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your data within 30 days, unless we must keep records for tax law (sales records, up to 7 years under Austrian law).

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and export your data and to object to processing. Write to customercare@akaibustore.com. You can also complain to the Austrian data protection authority (Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at).

Changes

We update this policy when Rakr changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
